For what it is, I like it.  Quality sandwiches and pastries.  Friendly service.  I rather like this place.

All true, but a couple more details.  We have been here many times and we have never had someone take our order who fully understands the process.

Also, the air conditioning here is way too cold.  It's summertime and me, my mother and daughter shouldn't all feel like we need heavy sweaters to be here. I even have more resistance to the bother of cold and it's very cold to me.  That's all.

I still like it here and plan to keep coming back.

If you're looking for good places to eat for lunch and breakfast this is definitely the place! Their French toast and the Mexican Omelette is very delicious and their sandwiches are amazing too. The food is very good! Definitely 4 stars.

However the customer service there is horrible! Yesterday I was ordering breakfast online for pick up before the breakfast hour closes which was around 10:40am. I finished ordering around 10:48-50 and I get a voicemail from them saying they didn't have anymore French toast or Vanilla Parfaits and that I'll have to cancel my order and call them back. They also added that it was already 11 when they sent the voicemail. I called them back and was on hold for at least 25 min and they never picked up the phone to help me cancel the payment. And they kept my money.

I work at customer service and my managers and co workers are very good at picking up the phone calls, I understand they might've been busy but for 25 min of waiting on hold that's ridiculous! Kneaders you lost yourselves a good customer.

Food is excellent when prepared and served correctly. Unfortunately the staff is rude, unsanitary, and honestly, might be on drugs. I've never had a restaurant experience like the Thornton Kneaders. All three times I've left there speechless. The experience was so bazaar, it's hard to explain what happened. First off, I was borderline afraid to order. The attitude is heavy from the moment you walk through the door. The junior staff had no clue what was going on, and two out of the three visits, the manager was called in to complete a simple order. We have also been denied cheesecake that was SITTING ON DISPLAY in the cooler. It felt as if the staff was saving it to take home? Finally, the first time we visited, the cashier vented that she had just quit and absolutely hated working there. Our experiences since have confirmed her frustration.

If I was the owner, I would get all new staff. This location has to be struggling. Hopefully they get up to par with the Westminster location.

To be fair, we've only been at night. The morning shift might be completely different. It is unfortunate because this location is popular with first time customers. We all end up give each other the same "WTF just happened" look.

So, I went in to grab a couple things on my way to a function. Stood there for about 4 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence (there were people in the restaurant so I am patient). Ordered 2 ham, egg, and cheese croissants and a pastry. Left 20 minutes later with 2 sausage egg and cheese croissants, a pastry, and not so much as a "sorry for the wait".  I gave two stars because the pastry was good. Could have gotten the same sandwiches at Burger King for $1.

Not sure if the whole staff is new or what but tonight's visit was painfully slow when there were literally only two of us inside and one in the drive through. The staff outnumbered the customers. I always order the same thing and normally the turkey is spilling out the sides of the sandwich. I got home and this is what I received! Not thrilled to spend so much on lettuce and bread! So disappointed in this location.
